Shanetta Franklin was born June 1st 1987, a twin set of girls herself, and Lanetta , were born to Pearlnetta Franklin and Elbert Franklin . Shanetta was called Frog by all that loved her. She was a Free spirited , Fun loving Girl that loved her children , family , music , dancing, singing, bowling, cooking,playing cards, traveling, and anything else fun to do. She was the mother of 3 beautiful children , 2 boys and one girl. She was loved by everyone and most of all by her many siblings and large family. She was born in Chicago illinois , but later raised in Saginaw ,Mi. .. Life in saginaw was hard , but full of love, and God. Frog lost her parents eairly on and, as a result all siblings pulled close and looked after the younger ones, and each other. Times were not always perfect but when push came to shove they were there for each other. Saginaw was a place riddled with crime, murders mainly..and alot of family and friends were lost to it, this fact pushed her to join Her twin and sister In Grand Rapids , to find a better life . Life in Grand Rapids was just that , grand ..The sisters had fun , enjoyed life . Until The morning of June 14th, Just out having fun with family and friends.. Shannetta was hit in the middle of a shooting , not meant for her .. While dancing and smiling,..a bullet from nowhere entered her heart leaving her dead on the sceen... Leaving her children, and all else that loved her to Struggle with losing such a bright shinning light in ever life she touched. Though the gun, and person in procession of the weapon that took her life, and injured 2 others was apprehended..no one was charged or convicted of her death..Justice was never sadly served ..." The vengeance is mine" said the Lord..do we have faith and wait for his hand to drop upon the lives of thoes responsible for taking hers..
