I have so many memories that come to me often. I will always miss you until the day when we can be together again. Get them buses loaded and keep those drivers in line.

Can't believe it has been a year. Sharon you would be glad I made contact with Kerry's daughter Shannon. What a wonderful young woman. You look out for her Mom when her time came and now you are together. Laughing at all the goings on. Just know you are missed and loved and always will be. Love you, woman.

My dear friend I love you and miss you each and every day. I know that life was not always kind to you but just knowing you and being your friend made you very special to me. In the end you accomplished more with your life and your love of people than most of us ever will. You will always be in my thoughts. That booming voice and smile. RIP my friend.

Oh Sharon, you will be forever missed. I remember you were one of my first hair customers. We used to make that hairdo last one whole week and we had so much fun doing it. I remember when I made the color " a little different " ha! You were so gracious about it and we had a good laugh. Then when you moved and started doing your own hair. What a time we had. I love you my friend. Goodbye

Sharon you held a very special place in Mikes' and my heart and you lit up Fairbanks every time you came to visit. You were one of a kind~a truly "real" and honest person! An Alaskan advocate to the end. You will be sorely missed. Love, Kathy and Mike

" Sharon was a great friend. she was there when my youngest daughter turned 21 years old and when she got married. She was really glad when she divorced the man.lol We had good times and bad but she always had a smile on her face and she always was there to help and listen. You will always be missed. Love you Sharon, you will be in my heart always.

Sharon you are my forever friend. You will always be in my heart. No matter where I lived or where I traveled you were always there for me. I loved you so. We were friends through thick and thin. There will never be a school bus company like the one we worked for. Come Christmas time I will miss my phone call from you.

I will miss your beautiful smile, it was contagious and I love you for it. You saw the good in everyone. Your positive attitude will live on in my heart. We will meet again my friend but for now, I know I have another spirit guide to help me through this life. Love you, girl. You are forever in my heart.

I see a vision of Sharon standing before the Throne of God. God and Sharon are laughing and reminiscing about all of the adventures she had and the lives she made better. Heaven will hear her deep raspy laugh saying “enough talk already, let’s get to work, where should I start” and God will answer “you are my kind of girl --well done my good and faithful servant!"

Sharon was a classic old-time Alaskan: fun-loving, outspoken, public-spirited - a true community-builder. You could always count on her to speak the truth in colorful (sometimes off-color!) language. She was dedicated to advocating for the needs of others, especially seniors. During her time as chair of the Alaska Commission on Aging, she embodied the spirit of openness and accessibility.
