I was here yesterday. I read all the tributes and gazed at all the photos. I was overcome with sadness and tears. So I'm back today to say I am truly amazed how long this tribute has lasted, how one beautiful soul could leave such a legacy of love and memories. Powerful! What can we do, but live as she did, the finest tribute to an angel is to live like she did. Happy living, all of you!

4 years! It's not as fun as it was when you were here. Sharon, Eno, you become more special every year to me, as I continue to realize what a friend I had in you. My Dear Sharon,

I am writing this to you because if you could be anywhere right now, it would be on the computer, visitng this site, and smiling! Yesterday was one year since you left us. The world has been more quiet, lonely and sad without you. But again, it has been enriched, enlightened and joyous because of you. Life is a paradox.

One day I was out running. A hornets nest, complete, and still attached to the fir branch with needles, dropped at my feet. I looked up and immediately felt your presence, and said "Thank you, Sharon." From that moment I have realized you are still here. I saved that whole, beautiful hornets nest and it hangs in my living room on the mirror, as a reminder of you.

Now I'd like to give loving hugs to Cindy, Butch, and Sharon's friends and family and say I hope you are all living well with new meaning of life and many things to fill that awful empty space Shar left.

What a joy she was! I feel she has forgiven me for my negligence and wrongs. Thank you Sharon!

Everyone who posted a tribute did a wonderful job of describing Sharon. I always thought she was indescribable! I met Sharon when she worked as a seamstress in the Rice Hill laundromat in 1997. We shared our love of poetry. She was childlike and enthusiastic about everything: Christmas, Halloween, making crafts, her internet friends. Time stopped when we were having fun together. Love you

She was so talented. Multiple aspects of talent radiated from her. Besides creating wonderful art, she made jewelry and just awesome art from wasp nest pulp that was found for her in the woods of the great northwest. She was so unique in her creativity. She was a friend to all as well. Filled with compassion for others and always a smile and a kind word. A beautiful lady!

Sharon was one of the most inspirational people I know. Her love of life, her love for Butch, her love of her heritage, her love of people in general....always lifted me up. Her funny ways, her laughter, her special personality, the bongo board, and her way of finding good in everything will be sorely missed. My world was a better place for having known Sharon. My daughters enjoyed the yarn pets she made for them. She welcomed me into her life and I feel that she truly enjoyed her time here on earth. She has left behind her family but she lives on through them and her friends. Bless you Sharon and hope you have gotten the hang of your new wings.

Butch gifted Sharon with 2 tickets to see Riverdance at the Hult Center in Eugene. She made reservations at the Hylton. She called and told me to reserve the day on my calendar. We packed up a whole "wardrobe" of clothes and spent the night in the fancy hotel. The first thing Sharon did was pull out all the wonderful soaps, shampoos and free stuff in the drawers. She was ooh-ing and ahh-ing and we played like two kids in that room. I'll never forget her glee! And she looked so beautiful (see photos). She forgot the tickets and called Butch, who was a thousand miles away :) but we ended up getting in after a few phone calls to box-office. We had a marvelous dinner and walked next-door to see Riverdance. We were dressed to kill. Afterwards we sat in the lounge and talked. This was just one of hundreds of things Sharon did for her many friends. Thank you, Sharon, for the memories!

Sharon was famous for on a Spur Of A Moment kinda Person, We Both Love Surprizes! She calls me one day to invite me to a ZZ Top Concert at the Oregon State fair, Butch had to work, so she had an extra ticket, I had the car I was glad to go.
We had a BLAST!!!!   One of the best Concert's I've ever been to It was so fun to share it with her.
We have Also gone to the Douglas County Fair, I remember one night just Sharon & I scrambling around for change just So we could get an OLD TIME PHOTO taken of us Saloon Cowgirls with rifles, We got one 8x10 size & went to copy it so we both would have one, We had so much fun making our own stuffed bears to, I think it will be the Holidays Get Togethers & BBQ's,  will be forever altered, But as I light the Candle the light will burn brightly for You my Friend, I promise I will never forget you.
