SHASHA AND I WERE FRIENDS SINCE THE SIXTH GRADE. SHE WAS IN MY WEDDING AND I HERS. MY FONDEST MEMORIES ARE THE WEEKENDS WE STAYED AT EACH OTHERS HOUSES AND TAKING GLENN AND GARY TRICK OR TREATING. SHE IS SORELY MISSED AND WAS A TRUE FRIEND TO THE END! I LOVE AND MISS YOU,  DEBBI (SWIERSKI)SPAKE

A ladybug does fight the wind,
In sky's of blue and grey.
Pushing on beneath the clouds,
In this and that of ways.

This ladybug stops not to rest,
Stead passes by the shade.
Determined more and more it seems,
To press on and never fade.

The sun now shines on ladybug,
Bright red for all to see.
Whispering to those around,
The bumble of a bee.

Look at this, oh ladybug,
A place for you to land.
Rest your little weary wings,
Upon my outreached hand.

You have done so many things,
For you to be so small.
Giving wishes one by one,
To me and to us all.

For loving me so true.

I am so blessed and honored to have such wonderful parents.  I thank God everyday that he chose me to be their daughter.  My mom was a very special person and there is no one else like her.  She was an amazing role model not only for my sister and me, but for everyone she came in contact with.  She taught me so many things through leading by example.  She taught me how to care for others by always putting everyone before herself.  She always did what would please and benefit others, not herself.  She taught me how to love by loving all of us unconditionally.  She showed us and told us daily in so many different ways.  She taught me friendship by always being there for others.  When someone needed a confidant, advice, or guidance, she was available.  She taught me honesty by always leading with her righteous heart.  She taught me respect by always knowing the right things to say and do.  She taught me loyalty because once she agreed to something she was committed until the end.  She taught me responsibility by always taking care of things, usually way ahead of time just in case.  She taught me to be tough.  She showed me that by fighting her horrible, painful disease for years until the very very end when it became the hardest.  I could go on forever and still not be able to list everything my mom taught me.  I am who I am today because of her.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  A piece of my heart is now missing forever since it will not be filled with her voice saying “I love you” every day.
