Her Life

About my Mother

August 8, 2018

My mother was definately unique. She was smart and hyper and funny. She loved humor and to.play jokes on people. Anyone was subject to be the victim of one of her jokes. She was kind of "wild" and often drew attention by her loud voice, her laugh and her conversations. She laughed often. She loved animals, especially dogs and birds. She had many of both throughout my entire life. She took very good care of all her pets, always.

She usually drove a Camaro or Firebird throughout my life but actually owned a Kia followed by a monte carlo the last few years of her life. She was a very up-beat person who made alot of friends and acquaintances throughout her life. She loved watching movies whether it was movies she rented, ones on lifetime movie network or on cable, to going to the theater. She watched the ones she favored so many times she memorized them and could repeat the whole dialog if you missed anything! Whenever we went to see a movie, she never would "whisper" when making a coment during a movie. She would speak in her normal voice tone. Other people would often tell us to hush or be quiet. We would just laugh.

My mom had several jobs since I was born begining with being a R.N. at El Camino hospital where I was born. She worked for electronic companies like Hewlett Packard and GTE Sylvania. She worked at Emporium capwell and Jones New York while I was in high school. She was also a dog groomer. She and I applied together gor a job doing airline security at the Jacksonville, Florida Airport. I was hired first then she was hired about 2 weeks later. It was a cool job and we both liked it. Celebrities and other famous people went through their often. We rarely recognized them at first. I found a couple illegal swords or knives being brought on board via a suitcase or duffel bag but she actually spotted what looked like a toy gun on our screening monitor but it turned out to be a Derringer pistol! Great job Mommy!

Her favorite breed was Poodles. She had every size poodle there is adding standard poodles to the equasion the last few years of her life.

My mom had no enemies I can think of but an endless number of friends and people who liked her alot.

She will forever be missed.
