This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Sheila Williams, 87 years old, born on July 12, 1926, and passed away on March 25, 2014. We will remember her forever.
Deeply saddened to learn of Sheila's passing. As a long time friend of Glen, Sheila was like a second mother during our high school years. Glen and I could always count on 2 evening meals if we timed it right between residences. Deepest condolences to everyone in the Williams family.
The first time I met Mrs. Williams was at Sheila's Physiotherapy Clinic opening & I was amazed at her remarkable quick wit, great conversation & awesome strength having just persevered with her treatments for cancer. Garth had met her earlier & often spoke about her incredible ability to deal with the difficult challenges facing her. She is a wonderful example for us all in living life to its fullest. We understand that as a family you will all miss her greatly but it is the joy she brought you that will sustain you in the coming days & years. It is this memory that will have her live in your hearts forever. Hugs to all the family from both of us.
Our family is all so sad to hear of Auntie Sheila's passing. I have nothing but wonderful memories of all of the special times our family has shared out in Lac du Bonnet and celebrating special occasions. I will cherish my memories of Auntie Sheila's laugh and zest for life!! Kim and Richard Enright
When we think of Sheila we smile; and remember her many stories, sense of humor, that special grin she'd flash you and her love of family. Glen, Sheila and Family please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
What a wonderful tribute to a special lady. Having worked with Glen for 17 years, I also have had the privilege of getting to know Mrs. Williams. When I think of my times with her, I am reminded of her sense of humour, her ability to tell a good story (which was always reminiscent of some special memory and always included us having a chuckle about something) and her spunk. I loved her spunk. She was a great lady who lived life to the full. I also had the priviledge of observing Glen care for his mother in a significant way. Many of us could take lessons from you, in how to do that well. Good for you Glen, your mom was blessed indeed. May the wonderful memories you have stay with you along with a sense of peace in your soul. You have many friends who care, Randy and I are among them. Blessings my friend Darlene
I was saddened to hear of Sheila's passing. I have very fond memories of Sheila from Hillside Beach. Almost daily in the summer, my Mom, Sheila and her sister Audrey would invite me to join them for coffee, and Sheila would have me laughing so hard my sides would hurt! She was always the life of any party, dressing up in goofy hats - always positive. Heaven now has an angel with a great sense of humour! She'll forever have that great smile on her face, twinkle in her eye, and be the life of the party!
The true measure of one's life is in how one loves and is loved by others. Sheila lived a life filled with love. May this love sustain and support her family.
Saddened to learn that she is no more with us Will miss her smile, affection, and respect. Was a privilege to know her and she was fortunate to have such a caring family that allowed her to live life to the fullest May her soul rest in peace and give family the strength to bear her loss Kalpana and Pravin
