Sherrod Wayne Pulley, 74, a longtime resident of Wake County passed away Thursday, December 14, 2107 at his home.
A native of Nash County, he is the son of Dorothy Paris Pulley and the late Rev. Rudolph Pulley. Sherrod was in the first graduating class of South Granville High School and named the mascot the” Vikings”. He attended NCSU and was a retired accountant. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where his father was a former minister.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife Carol of the home; two sons, Scott and wife Kelly of Clayton, Chad and wife Christy of Yardley, Pa; three grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaugher; three brothers, Dan and wife Dora of Raleigh, Rod of Winston-Salem, Mike and wife Diane of Raleigh; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
