Sherry had beauty, charm and such grace,
and when she smiled, joy lit up her face.
A smile so natural from deep inside,
for in her heart the Lord did abide.
she loved to serve and is now serving still,
Surrendered her life to doing God's will.
We will meet again on those golden streets,
together our family, healed of all griefs!
From our family to yours, love and prayers, Cousin Bobby.

Sherry left our world too soon, but she has not left us in our hearts and memories. I remember you Skip in my prayers and ask God's continued peace for you and your family. There is comfort in the faith she had because in Jesus there is no death, only temporary separation. I hope Pat and I might see you again, but if it is heaven that will be our meeting place then I look forward to a great reunion! Mom and Dad so loved you. God bless you. Bobby

God is so gracious as to give us memories so that the love we share as family remains, even when loved ones are gone from our presence. They sustain us as we look forward to meeting once again. Sherry was often my babysitter when I was young. I lack clear details of that but do remember that it was a joy to have her care for us. She was so kind and gentle and encouraging. When Pat and got married she gave us a macrame' Owl, which I have kept all these years. She was one of God's best creations and her influence is still felt. As Revelation 14:13 reminds us that we rest from our labors but our works follow after us. May we all look endeavor to live our out hope in Christ until He returns and takes us home! My love to all our wonderful family,
Bobby

Sherry was a beautiful, kind and caring soul who was always concerned about others above herself. She had a servant's heart and followed her Lord Jesus in washing the feet of others. The world is poorer with her absence but she is enjoying the reunion we all look forward to with our Savior. Skip we are thinking of you and the many kindnesses you and Sherry provided for us and I know for so many others. God bless you all!
Love, Bobby

My Favorite Babysitter

September 15, 2015

I still remember all those times Sherry would babysit us while growing up in FL. She always brought such joy, gave us her undivided attention, and made us feel like we were the most important individuals in the world. She had that rare gift that made you feel as if the world would be dimished without your presence. How much our world is now dimished without her! Such beauty that radiated from the inside out. She had a beautiful smile but I remember her eyes, because through them you could see her soul and know that her greatest joy was in bringing happiness to you. Jesus said that the greatest love is in self-sacrifice for others, laying one's life down for another. Sherry did that, day by day, one selfless act after another, serving, helping, always smiling, choosing to live her faith in Christ by following His example of serving others.
My thoughts and prayers to you all, and my expectation of one day in eternity, being together again for the best of all family reunions.
Love in Christ, Cousin Bobby,
Bob Brock, Edenton, NC
