Shirley Hutchins was born on March 21, 1936 to the late Mr. & Mrs.

Hollie & Tiny Burns and Oscar Turner of Dadeville, AL.

She joined Baskin Chapel AME Zion Church at an early age and later
joined Greater Temple of God in Alex City, AL.

Shirley departed this life on July 25, 2016. She was preceded in death
by her late husband, Walter P. Hutchins; her daughter, Marie Hutchins; her
son, Larry C. Hutchins; her sister, Mary Jean Fitten; her brother, Larry
Turner and her grandmother, Tina Burns.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Derrick (Natasha)
Hutchins, Brenda Hutchins, Shirley Ann Hutchins, Gloria Whetstone,
Angela Hutchins all of Alex City, AL; Roberta (Jasper) English of
Sylacauga, AL, Betty Carlisle of Jackson Gap, AL, Mary Lee Hutchenson
of Dadeville, AL, Elizabeth Shakesphere of Cleveland, OH, Tommy Lee
Hutchins of Alex City, AL, Walter B. (Laura Mae) Hutchins of Jackson Gap,
AL; seven brothers, Hollie Ray Burns of Detroit, MI, Leroy (Patricia) Burns,
Ralph Burns, Perry Burns, Otis (Gloria) Burns; five sisters, Alma McClain
of Queens, NY, Carol Silmon of Dadeville, AL, Vera (Hamlet) Barnes of
Salem, AL, Willie P. Turner of Alex City, AL, Geneva (Calvin) Hughley of
Chattanooga, TN, Gerald Turner of Columbus, OH; 112 grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; four grandkids she raised
as her own, Larry Hutchins, Teresa Hutchins, Barry Hutchins and Michelle
Hutchins all of Alex City, AL; a special nephew, Rodney Fitten of Dadeville,
AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
