Shirley Jean (Freberg) Bua of Deep Creek, Fl passed away
Friday July 18, 2014.

Shirley was born June 7, 1930 in Chicago IL. Her parents moved to Miami, Fl
when she was 5 years old. She was a busy domestic engineer, sewing clothes for her children, even talented enough to make Prom dresses. Shirley had an enviable green thumb.
She loved to garden, and her family enjoyed many meals with fresh vegetables she grew.

She entertained many people at nursing homes thru her association with the Harbour Heights Kitchen Band. She even made her own musical instrument, called The Wiz Bang. Shirley will be dearly missed by all those who knew her, and by her loving children, Patricia Hansen, Deborah Abraham and Stephen Ahern. She also leaves behind her companion and traveling partner, Thomas Butler.

A remembrance of her life will be held Saturday July 26,2014 at the
Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, from 12-2pm. Donations can be made in her name to Hospice House in Port Charlotte.
