Shirley Greenlee Conner, 73, of Forest City, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Florence Aldridge Greenlee. Shirley was a retired dietary worker at White Oak Manor, Rutherfordton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shirley Faini and husband Paul of Forest City, Thomas Ray Conner and wife Shelia of Ellenboro; four grandchildren, Kevin Faini, Brian Faini, Brittany Conner, Allison Conner; step grandchild James Devens; two great grandchildren, Avett Faini and Helena Devens; brother, Robert Greenlee; sisters Juanita Lane of Forest City and Vonnie Waters of Ellenboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Conner.

Graveside services will be held 2 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Cecelia Beck officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5 until 7 PM at Crowe’s Mortuary.
