She became a member of The Church of Christ at Greentown Heights at an early age.  She is a 1989 graduate of Manchester High School and she attended Gordon College and West Georgia Tech College for Child Day Care.

She leaves to cherish, her church family; her son, GareonDemone Mason of Manchester, GA; mother, Mrs. Harriett Hill Henry; father, Mr. James Curtis Henry; two brothers, Terrance Tyrone Henry of Manchester, GA and Dante’ Henry of Atlanta, GA; a very special sister, daughter and friend, Mariah Arketa-Kirlesha Ellison.  Monica had a twin sister, Veronica Denise Henry who preceded her in death; grandfather, Napoleon Hill of Montezuma, GA; uncle, Napoleon Hill, Jr. (Pamela) of Montezuma, GA;   step-father, Mr. Leroy Harris of Atlanta, GA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends that loved her dearly.
