Rest In Peace

January 23, 2015

I greet all the children and relatives of The Omojokuns and Pray The LORD GOD our King and Saviour console and strengthen you In The Name of Jesus amen.

My Pastor, Mrs Funmi Obilana always spoke fondly and beautifully of her dad, And though I never met him in person, I had great admiration for the qualities he represented and I know he must have been a very strict Teacher to many of his former students.

Please give Glory to God for his life has been a BIG Blessing to many Nigerians.

The LORD will grant you all a safe and peaceful celebration of his life In The Name of Jesus amen.

My Big Daddy and My Mentor

January 9, 2015

I can't call you my Uncle, oh Never, you're my father, you're my mentor. You thought me so much and gave me so much strength.
I could remember the day I brought my husband to you for counsel, you gave us so much that money can't buy and till today. They still work for us. You told us to always read Psalm 23 no matter what and trust me daddy, that Psalm works wonder for us all the time. Hmmm.. I have so much to share, but I'm still in shock of your death, I still can't believe I won't see you again. I remember our last conversation on phone last year. You said I should make my husband my best friend and put God first in everything we do. Even when I don't call you with my number, just at the 'Hello' you call my name back because you already know my voice on the phone. Sleep on dearest big daddy in the bosom of God. You're such an angel and you've done your part. One request daddy: please ask God to UNITE all the OMOJOKUNs worldwide and make us one. I know this is also going to make you happy in heaven.
Love you forever my dearest big daddy and Mentor. ADIEU

Your smiles were unmatched, your unique way of saying my name each time I called you "Mrs Ayodele Oke" was always the first thing you say when you hear my voice.
