SPC Joshua Clinton Farmer, 25 of Conway, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009.
He was born April 19, 1984, in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Clinton “Sonny” Farmer.
Joshua graduated from Mayflower High School with honors and received the John Philip Sousa Award for band.
He was on active duty in the Army National Guard and served in Iraq.
He was a member of the 1038th HCC (Camp Robinson). He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Joshua was a loving husband, father, son and was an accomplished musician. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Rhea (Gunter) Farmer; his son, Kaeden Alexander Farmer of the home; his mother, Gail (Hampton) Glover and husband Bobby of Greenbrier; two sisters, Penny Freeman of Fort Worth, Texas and Sarah Hays of Conway; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended family.
He was a happy solider. He loved music, listening to it and playing
it. He was looking into being the cornet player playing taps at
military funerals. He was a wonderful father and husband. He was also
active in the church youth group mentoring and helping them.
