Man, do I miss you! I hate to say that you are lucky you are not around to witness the crazy world we live in today. Thank the Lord we still have lots of good things to remind us of you like the Dodgers and Angels, your beautiful granddaughters whom you would be very proud of, and most of all your loving wife and our wonderful "WSM" who makes my heart full without you here to give us your big bear hugs. I can't believe it's already been five years since I held your hand and said goodbye. I love you always:) Naya & Jimbo xoxoxoxox P.S. Hope you are having a good time with Uncle Kenny Paul!
It's a good thing you are in a better place because the world is falling apart! Well, she did it! She came to the Yacht Club and together, we pulled off a successful booked event! We went on to be great friends, roommates, and later and happily, sisters-in-law! She and Stan were soulmates of the highest degree.....so much so, that I took a back seat. That was all good, because Barb made Stan HAPPY, at peace, in love, and whole! I know he did the same for her.... he made us all happy, so full of love and life.....
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
Love you FOREVER....
Miss you for ALWAYS! XO!!
Thanks DeNaya, it got my attention and had post a few messages before I found this one. As a tribute to my little brother Stanley all I can say is we spent a lifetime together and a loving one at that, Through times of trouble and times of joy. always with a positive attitude. After I was married and had started a family, Stan was always there to help out in so many ways. As he grew older and started to have a life of his own we remained not only brothers but good friends. Later on in the Newport days sometimes we had to watchout so we did not get into to much trouble but we maintained. I think of Stan often and somehow wish we had spent more time togther in our later years. But the love remained, I miss him very much as we all do. Thinking of him and Kenny this day they both passed on to heaven, Again ALOHA BROTHERS!!!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! XO!!
Love and hugs and kisses,
Naya and Jimbo

S Swotzelbot
Stan signed my high school yearbook (senior year, I think) He wrote three smart aleck things, but I remember two: "Tell 'em where you got it!" and "Don't let your meat loaf!" Love, S. Swotzelbot (a silly nickname he had at the time). Unbeknownst to me, my Dad was sneaking peaks at my yearbook. He became enraged when he read Stan's entry, not knowing it was Stan's. He wanted to know who this no-good-rock-and-roll dropout was! I wouldn't tell him...just some kid! Stan always took me under his wing...he worked at Bill Martini's "Living Room" and I visited him often. One night, he was on vacation, and I went to the Living Room. Bill Martini was angry that his cocktail waitress had no showed...AGAIN! He offered me a job on the spot...knowing I was Stan's sister...not knowing I was not yet 21... I asked him not to tell Stan as I wanted to surpirse him. When Stan came back and was counting his bank, I had hid in the pool room. I came out and hollered "ordering!" He turned around, stuck his hand in the ice, then, shocked, looked up and said "Holy S#*t! You're my sister!" We worked together alot, there and Balboa Pavilion. He was the toughest on me, workwise, because he wanted me to be the best! Love and miss you Stan. Stories of how I met Barb ans "Stanely" to come...always more to come...so much to tell about the big brother who taught me the most!
