Mr. Stanley Sellers 58, of Five Points (Stroud), Alabama died Sunday June 12, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 16, 2016 at 11AM at the Bethel Baptist Church in Welch with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 6PM until 8PM.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to Bethel Baptist Church.

Been 7 years and I still miss my friend. We had such good times together. Still remember the night he told me, Mitchell, you tickel me. We did have a lot of laughs. Hope to see you again one day my friend.

Praying for my friend Kathy and her son Christopher. This is such a hard thing to face and I know I for one will miss Stanley so bad. We have become such very close friends over the last couple of years and he was like a brother to me. Rest in Peace my best friend, I Love you Man and till we meet again I'll sit on the edge of the pier like the Luke Bryan song says.

Kathy, my heart breaks for you, but please know that you have been and will continue to be in my prayers. As I sat next to you and Stanley last week, I was thinking the whole time about how beautiful you are. You are just as beautiful on the inside as well. Stanley was a very blessed man to have you by his side for so many years. I so admire your strength and endurance and with God holding you closely, it will be your strong character qualities that help you through this difficult time.

Kathy, my heart is filled with sadness also. I will continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you, Chris, your daughter-in-law, family, and loved ones. Stanley was a nice guy and you were blessed to have him and vice versa. I can't say that each day will get better, but I will pray that you will gain strength each day. Stanley will always be remembered by me as a treasured friend and classmate! I am so thankful we have been able to meet and eat dinner with some of my classmates as a group! It will never be the same without him.....I am so very sorry!
