Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years since you went on to do bigger and better things. We all miss you so much. I am so sorry for ur loss. She was the sweetest lady I have ever had the chance to meet. She was the best teacher an friend I have ever had. Miss Ashely will always be in my thought. My thoughts an prayers to the family.

This is how I show that I care. When she was teaching me reading, math and English she was good at what she did. When I would walk into the Star Learning Center she was the humorous lady behind the desk. So fun and kind. She would make sure that students would study. Without a doubt in my mind she helped me achieve goals along with other teachers in the Star Center. I enjoy learning.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Your mom was a wonderful person, friend, and teacher. I was so privileged to have worked with her for 15 years at Flat Rock and to have known her as a friend. She was an amazing person and taught me a lot about teaching. May God be with all of you during this sad time.

Your mom meant SO much to me & I am so sorry for your loss. I can still hear her voice as she rallied the dancers for recitals, I can see her smile that she gave so freely to everyone & I can still remember how she was willing to do ANYTHING & EVERYTHING, for ANYBODY. When a woman such as your mom passes so many memories flood the mind. Susan was such an amazing person and was always at one with the world. She was the same sweet Susan everyday when dealing with students, teachers and/or parents. She was a pleasure to know and to work with giving her all for her students, family and friends.

Mrs. Ashley was such a wonderful inspiration during the tumultuous middle school years. I was truly lucky to have her in my life. To this day, I remember her kindness and special gift with teens. She touched so many lives in a positive way. Though she has gone on to a better place, her spirit lives with so many of us today.

Susan was such an inspiration to me and many others. She always had a smile and her laughter was contagious. I love and admire her. She is truly one of the most courageous people I have ever known. What a great warrior. I pray you all find strength and comfort through God and warm memories of Susan.

This is from Susan's co-workers at the BRCC STAR Center...We were privileged to meet many of Susan's family members and we all love Susan as a co-worker and for the wonderful person that she was. We will forever miss her and she will always be a part of the STAR Center family. Not only did she teach our students, but she also taught us to love, live and laugh more, and to always be brave.

Your mom was such a champion of students of which my daughter was an example. She loved kids and they reciprocated. She has left a great legacy of which you should be very proud. You all are in my prayers in this very difficult time.
