Back to the sombarro hat and her big smile of enjoyment and a few tears she had all of us girls, grandkids all but one that was the iceing on the cake to see her so happy. But after all the funny thing she said was,"wow that was heavy" talking about the hat just the way she said it.....love and miss you mom...ur baby

Gma would call all of us and sing happy birthday to us. Last year on her birthday at chelinos they put the sombrarro on her head and sang to her. She was so happy. I miss her.

We had gone to the hospital to see bubba.... We were getting ready to leave later that night and I had to go to the bathroom.... I told mom and grandma that I was going to the bathroom so they wouldn't leave me.... I came out of the bathroom, and they were gone.... I started to freak out thinking they had forgotten I was in the bathroom and left me..... I looked everywhere.... Then I seen a security guard and I asked him if he saw where they went.... He pointed to the front of hospital and said I think they headed to the front of the hospital... So I walked from the back of the hospital to the front of the hospital..... I did not see them.... I stepped outside to see if I saw Steve baca's car and I didn't so at this time I was really freaking out.... I decided to walk back to the back of the hospital where I was and when I came around the corner and started to walk down the long hallway, I see mom and grandma just laughing hysterically.... I said that's not funny I was freaking out but i couldn't help but to laugh.... It was so funny and grandma sure thought it was hilarious.... She couldn't stop laughing....

Many events occurred at grandma and grandpas from first catfish caught to pumpkins carving to Tiff and I trying to hang our sisters with grandmas yarn but this one sticks out most to me. The laundry room was one of my favorite hide and seek places, I climbed up next to the washer just at the same as time my mother leaving to go to the store, she was gone 20 min or so all in the meantime everyone thought I was with her, she walks in and whoever else went. I hear my dad ask where I was she didn't know everyone thought I was with her, next I here everyone walking about, you get 10 people moving and you can feel a trailer move, so one person comes in turns on the light and another and another person none finding me. Next i here the door open to go outside many look all this I've been there 45 mins now. All this going on I can here them talking and getting really worried, finally grandma comes in to where i was, she didn't know I was there, everyone was furious with me screaming this wasn't funny around Christmas only grandma and I were the only 2 laughing and grandma protected me from my dad. Gonna miss these times.

She picked me up from work one day and her and I stopped at Braums for ice cream.... We were going through the drive thru.... We got up to order thru the speaker and her car died.... They kept asking what we wanted and she kept telling them hang on.... Lol..... Finally a guy came out and pushed us into a parking spot.... We called the family and decided to wait inside until they got there.... After it was all fixed and stuff, we drove home and as we were driving home, she says to me, " I guess God was telling us that we don't need any ice cream" then we both laughed.... She always made me laugh..... For my birthday, she sang and danced for me.... She was always a happy woman who loved God.... I looked up to her.... Sometimes I would tell myself that I wanted to be like her, sweet, caring, and selfless.... I loved her dearly..... I will never forget her or our memories we had.....

I'll never forget the first time you answered Debbies phone and i thought it was her. I said i love you baby and you replied i love you to. You told Debbie i love you and we all have a big laugh. Yes i did love you also....

Back shortly after Grandpa passed away I stayed with her at her house. We had alot of fun. Spending time with her was by far the best gift ever. Grandma would debate with you over stupid laws, gun rights, even movies. We would have dinner together and watch csi and ncis together. Over the years following grandpa's death I made my mistakes, but grandma never looked down on me. She loved me no matter what. Here recently we would watch wipe out, westerns, and amazing race as a family as well as other shows. We never saw eye to eye on alot of subjects but I love the woman with all my heart and I hope she knew that. She was a huge part of all our lives and we will all never forget her.
