Tawanda "Tee" Alicia Wilkerson was born October 18, 1973 to the late Walter James Wilkerson and Dorothy Moore Bell.

She was a 1992 graduate of Valley High School and 1994 graduate of Southern Union State Community College, Opelika, AL; Major, Cosmetology.

Tawanda was a loving and devoted person who never met a stranger. Her shy and bright light shined for all of those who came within her beam.

She work effortlessly to support her children and her family. She was a devoted mother and daughter, loving sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, and a caring friend.

Tawanda confessed Christ at an early age and joined Rehoboth Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. Willie F. Smith, Sr.

She was employed at Martex for 11 years. Later she was employed at Interfaceflor for four years.

On Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2011, the Angels whispered to Tawanda, your job is done Peace be Still, now your new journey has begun. Your reservation is confirmed. Final destination ~ Heaven.

Tawanda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bessie Wilkerson; grandfateres, Clifford Moore, Sr., and Tommy Wilkerson; aunt, Linda Jo Marshall and step-father, Henry Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two beautiful children, Terrance Teuntae Walker and Tamaya Aneisa Walker both of West Point, GA; her loving and devoted mother, Dorothy Moore Bell, Lanett, AL; brother, BoDreka (Benita) Wilkerson, West Point, GA; sister, Tamya (Lamont) Artis, Stockbridge, GA; grandmother, Dorothy Mitchell Moore, Valley, AL; five uncles and four aunts, including, special aunts and uncles, Laneeta (Richard) Roberts, Montgomery, AL, Clifford Moore, Jr., Valley, AL, Tommy (Elaine) Wilkerson and Margaret (Allen) Ishler both of Lanett, AL; great-aunt, Bessie Huguley; great-uncle, Tim (Amanda) Floyd, Cusseta, AL; three nephews, Deontae Wilkerson, JaQuavious Wilkerson and Jamal Wilkerson all of West Point, GA; loving step-mother, Harriet Wilkerson, West Point, GA; step-sisters, Angel Haynes, Newnan, GA, Jakovia (Vincent) Williams, Atlanta, GA and Kizzie Magby, Lanett, AL; step-brother, Jesse Bernard Bell, Opelika, AL; special cousins, Thelonious Roberts and Alicia Charles both of Montgomery, AL, Donyaan Griggs, Atlanta, GA and Gwendolyn Presley, LaFayette, AL; step-nephews, John Bryant, Christopher Bryant and Terrance Bryant all of West Point, GA; other loving relatives and friends including Terrance Walker, West Point, GA and InterfaceFlor and Martex families.
