Ted Roger Hightower, age 44 of New Boston, MI, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010.

He was born on May 17, 1966 in Pennsylvania, dear son of Roger and Margaret (Ritchie) Hightower.

Ted is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sandy (Cogdill) Hightower, two sons, Michael Ted Hightower and Jason (Tiffany) Kern of New Boston, his parents, Roger and Margaret (Ritchie) Hightower of Grass lake, MI., his in-laws Wayne (Caroline) Cogdill of Willis, MI, one brother, Rodney (Michelle) Hightower, two sisters,  Peggy (Tim)Emelander all of Taylor and Stephanie Hightower of Grass Lake, MI. Also, five grandchildren, Jacob, Jay, Zoe, Trey and Ashlynn.

Ted was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church, New Boston, MI.  A fan of the Woodward Dream Cruise & Downriver Cruise and spending time out in the garage working on cars, 1969 Camaro's and always dreamt of owning a 1941 Willy's. Ted enjoyed paying computer games and car & estate auctions. He was a devoted family man who would do anything for his family. He loved & enjoyed his job as a Machine Builder very much. He also loved helping people in any way he could. He was at his happiest when he was covered in grease & working on cars. The day  he passed away  & the day before he was doing both. Helping someone,  putting a starter in, & figuring out how to fix a car.
