"Momma, today it's been a whole week since you've been gone. My heart hurts so bad but again I know your pain is gone. I miss hearing your voice and waking up to your text messages. I miss seeing your beautiful face and I just miss you. I love you sooooo much, more than all the notes in all of the music in the whole world. I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you."

"Momma.
Well I finally have found the courage to jump on here and talk to you. To say that my heart is broken just does not seem to suffice for how I feel. The impact that you have had on my life is so deep that I cannot imagine facing a challenge or joy without you. You have remained a stable force since the day I met you when I was only 16.  The same great smile and hug always greeted me and I can still hear the " Heeeyy Nicole" in my head and heart. Even after I disappeared you were the first person to welcome me back with no questions asked and to celebrate my success.
I have lost many people in my life but I can truly say that I feel your loss on sooo many levels. You never judged and you offered your insights with happiness to me so that I could learn not just from my own life but from yours as well. Often times when I had a situation you would help me look at it from a different angle and see the good works in it. You always saw and spoke of the good in me and would correct me when I got down on myself. I have never had anyone speak to me with such love and confidence.
I am overjoyed at knowing that other people have experienced the same greatness.(But I am still the baby!)
I love you like a ROCK!  and that is HARD!
I will miss you forever and a day."

"Aunt Terri I'm still having a hard time coming to grips with your passing. I have no regrets about our relationship because it was a truly sincere one. You took over the role as my big sister and encouraged me all my life. When momma passed away you took the role as mother too. We talked on the phone sometimes 4 and 5 hours at a time, laughing and crying just like sisters do. I grew up and learned so much from you, right there in grandmas bedroom. I want to thank you for loving me and selflessly caring for grandma. You were a good role model. I loved that you knew and remembered all my grandchildren names and birthdays, it showed me you were invested in my life. You just knew how to love. I will always remember you and I will continue to heed your good advice.  You will be missed constantly.
God loved you so much, He just didn't want you to suffer long that's what I tell myself."

"God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, Come With Me. With tearful eyes we watched her suffer And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly,We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating,Hard working hands laid to rest, GOD BROKE OUR HEARTS TO PROVE TO US HE ONLY TAKES TO BEST."

"To a wonderful person, Mother and friend to many. I will never forget all the fun times I had hanging out with you and Kyle, all the laughs we had, or just us girls sitting around talking. I know you know, but I'll just share, that your daughter and I share a bond as friends, as in we are both extremely close to our "Mommies" and the Mother / Daughter bond you and Kyle have will live with her forever. With my eyes full of tears thinking of you and Kyle, I'll just say, may you live up in the heavens and shine down on her and smile. Thinking of you Terri."

I pray that God give us the strength as a family to move through the bereavement process. Death is the only end of the physical life and also the beginning of an eternal life. Blessing to all."

"Oh Diva. Miss you fierce, but then I'll be talking with you regularly, my spirit to yours.. We were like sisters from different mothers. You made me laugh in ways no one else in my life has. We shared a love of reading, and music, and making wry observations about our lives and the people in it. There's a hole in me now that you are gone. Miss you. Love you always!"
