Terry met me in 1998, was a blind encounter, not a date.  Because as he was getting ready to meet me, he slipped on a slope were his truck was parked at his sisters and broke is leg, He was getting a clean shirt to wear to impress me I think and (no he was not drinking yet)  He refused to go to the ER but took a pain pill, and sat with leg elevated on a chair with an ice pack on it.  I kept telling him I think he broke it, but he insisted it was a sprain.  So after I left he had is sister take him to the ER and they xrayed the leg and it was broke, and they placed a splint boot on it.  He was living in Bloomington at the time, working as a mechanic for UPS, so he was off work for several weeks because he could not work.  So he came and stayed with his Mom and came to see me everyday, and that began are dating romance. Are offical first date was going to a movie and dinner, we went to eat and started drinking beer and missed the first showing, and went to the second showing of Patch Adams.  And yes he cried, but acted like he had something in his eye!  Gave me a box of chocolates, so all that sealed the deal for me.
