Terry LaJoyce Brothers October 17, 1964 April 7, 2009 Terry L. Brothers, 44, was born on October 17, 1964 in Bakersfield, CA, and raised by caring grandparents, Linberg and Oneeta Williams. She enjoyed a loving 31 year relationship with her husband, Vernell Brothers. From this union was born the light of Terry's life, Bo and Kimberly. Terry graduated from BHS and went on to earn her Master's Degree at CSUB. Terry relished many friendships from her years working at Taft College. She is survived by her husband, Vernell Brothers; children, Bo and Kimberly; grandparents, Linberg and Oneeta Williams; mother, Lillian A. Holley; father, Wayne Rayford; 2 sisters, Chei Brown and Kelley Jackson; 2 brothers, Darrin Rayford and Wayne Rayford, Jr.; and a host of nieces, and nephews. Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, 700 S. Haley.
