Dad I wish you were here for me to say to you that I forgive you for not always being in my life and that I always loved you unconditionally. No one is perfect but in many ways , you were the perfect Dad for me. I'm so thankful for our last visit when you came to see me but I wish you would've told me you were sick so that we could've spent more time together. I miss you so much Dad and so does your grandson and he sure could use his Grandpa right now so could you please wrap your arms around him and give him a big ole hug and somehow let him know you are with him? He still remembers your last words to him," Next time I see you we will go fishing." No matter how absent you were in my life Dad , I always loved you and I hope you knew I was there holding your hand when you took your last breath. To this day I still pray that I did the right thing by letting you go to heaven. I think of you everyday and wish so much you were still here with me. I will always love you Daddy....
