This memorial site was made in memory of the passing of nine year old Thomas Lee. Thomas was born in New York City, USA. Thomas was raised the majority of his life there. He was a generally popular child, playing hockey with all of the other boys. He had a crush on a girl, Riley from Grade 1 until Grade 3. The only reason he stopped crushing on her is because in the 3rd grade on October 14, 2010 he moved away. Thomas moved from NYC to Australia. He moved to Queensland. 

In Queensland, Australia 2010, there was a flood. The flood was major, and it was on the news. It was heard that 9 people went missing and 38 people died. And overnight, the flood hit their home. Thomas Lee passed away. 

Thomas' memory will live on in Australia. We miss him dearly. We always remember Thomas Lee.
