His Life

So What Happened?

December 17, 2014

My youngest son, Tommy passed away Friday. December 12, 2014.  He was so young and so kind. Tommy was a wonderful son.

It appears he was alone at the time. My daughter Deanne arrived home in the evening and thought he was a sleep after one of his many long nights playing video games. By God's grace, my nephew Christopher was there with her when she discovered Tommy. They tried desperately to revive him. But were unable to do so.  We discovered that he had died much earlier that day. We were told that it may have been a case of a sudden death seizure.  Although he had experienced mild seizures in the past, he had had none in the past few year and thus this was completely unexpected.

We were all very close to him, particularly his sister Deanne was extremely close to him as was my eldest and his entire family, he practically lived at their home. We all loved him so.

Tommy was perhaps the most loving person I had ever known. I never heard him say an unkind word. He was full of grace and mercy for others. He would typically disappear or withdraw to avoid conflict or evil. I thank God for the measure of his goodness. He will be greatly missed. There is a huge hole now in our family.
