Happy Birthday Mom!!! I miss you so much and I think of you everyday. I'm so sad that I can't just pick up the phone and call you. But I have so many life memories. The girls and I find ourselves talking like you, saying your many fun sayings, and thinking of you with so much love. I'm sure you are sitting at the feet of Jesus and He is rejoicing that you are there with him and remembering the day you were born. I am so thankful that you taught me what family is, love is, and to be thankful for what I have. I try to carry on those traditions to my own boys. They, in turn, will do the same with their families. We all miss you so much! Happy Birthday in heaven, Mom. I'll see you up there some day!!

I loved you first and will always love you. You had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever know. You would give your last dollar to anyone who needed it. So generous, so loving, so considerate, so compassionate, so sweet, so wonderful... the best mom ever. You taught me so many things that I am so thankful for. Mom would always tell us, "I love you very, very much!" Well, we loved HER very, very much! When I'd come home she would make homemade chicken and noodle soup for me...even in the summer! It was delicious and my favorite! She'd be there waiting for us to drive up - sitting on her deck. And her fried chicken!! Just the best! Not to mention kolaches...So many great memories!

My best memories of Grandma Tillie are that her house always smelled like ginger snaps cookies. She would have this amazing smile and hug you so tight. I loved that she always had her nails painted and her hands were beautiful. She made you feel so loved, sending birthday cards, making German chocolate cake for my birthday and sending the kids and i Valentines. God got a beautiful angel filled with so much love!
