On July 24th of 2014 Timothy Yaeger, Sr. departed this world. His passing, which was the result of a fall while painting his home, was unexpected, swift and painless. As sorrowful and shocking as it was when it occured, those who knew him best derive some comfort that Tim passed while working. Tim did not consider this world to be his final stop and will be ushered into Heaven with celebration.
Tim was born on October 7, 1941 to Clyde and Wilma Yaeger in San Francisco, CA. He lived puprosefully, generously, and energetically to the age of 72. He is survived by his dear wife Sandy, his three sons, Tim Jr., Andy and Kurt, his seven grandchildren and his younger sister, Jackie, with her husband and three daughters.
Tim will be remembered by the thousands, if not tens of thousands, of people he touched. As the stories continue to surface, it is clear that he was a hero in the private lives of many - much more so than any single person had known. No words can describe him, but those who knew him have been quick to descirbe him as: kind, wise, trustworthy, industrious, Godly, patient, loyal, sincere, blameless, reliable, constant, fun, thoughtful, strong, manly, pure, fatihful, humble, and adventurous. One adjective that came up more than any other, however, was "generous."
Memorial Service details:
The service was held on August 16th, 2014 at Peninsula Covenant Church in Redwood City, CA. The turnout was a testimony to Tim's impact. Many dentists showed up, a lot of the AWANA kids and parents came too, Crystal Springs Bible Church and Peninsula Christian fellowship family were there, the dune buggy crew was well-represented and a host of other friends from far and wide paid their respects. It was a day of both great sorrow and joy.

Donations:
We are no longer accepting donations to any funds, but in the spirit of Tim's generousity, we'd like to encourage those inclined to donate money to the organizations that mattered most to him. You can donate directly to these two organizations - we ask that you make mention of Tim in your memo, as a tribute to him and an encouragement to the recipients:
Awana Clubs of North Central California (http://www.awanacentralcal.org) - AWANA was always a near and dear ministry to Tim. For decades, he drove vanloads of kids from several neighborhoods to a place they could hear about God's love. He took things to a new level with the famous annual "snow trips" and the award trips to Majic Mountain in his Winnebego motorhome.
JARON Ministries (http://www.jaron.org) - this ministry focuses on encouraging and training pastors worldwide, with a special focus on the Phillipines. The founder of this organization, Dr. James Cecy, was a key spiritual mentor to Tim and his family and was the key speaker at Tim's memorial service.

Tim was such a godly man, who also knew how to have fun. He was truly "rich", and the personification of generosity. Knowing he is well and safe with our Heavenly Father, I rejoice for him. He was a faithful steward of what God entrusted to him andI can just imagine our Lord saying to him:"Well done, good servant".
May we all live a life that honors God the way that Tim did.
My prayers and deepest sympathies to the Yaeger family.
The world was a better place with Tim in it...
My deepest sympathy.

Gone from our sight, but never our memories.
Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I know Tim Sr. for almost 15 years. He's the one who help me out to know more about and familiar with dental industry.
I enjoy dealing with him and brought happiness to my business.

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has--or ever will have--something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."
Tim was that person, he took the time (no matter how long) to help many people in this way....I will be eternally grateful. He was my real life Mr. Rogers.......
May the light shine on him forever in our hearts and prayers...

Being the father of my closest friend I always felt like I know him in a different light than others. I never knew what his favorite color was or his favorite food but I was lucky enough to hear stories about him from his son’s and the lessons he taught them. I was fortunate enough to see the admiration and respect his son’s had for him.
I will always admire Mr. Yeager for being a great father and a good man.

Sunday school
I attended the Master's College with Andy. On one weekend I came up to the Bay area and visited church with Andy. To my memory this was the only time I met Tim. What I recall is that Andy was to lead a breif bible study. I remember being very inspired by watching the mentoring as Tim encouraged and helped Andy along in the midst of the study. Andy was unsure, but Tim saw him through. I saw fatherhood as it should be.

It was 1972
I met Tim during my senior year at University of the Pacfic School of Dentistry....I was planning to purchase a older dental practice in Oakland and discussed with Tim what I would need to purchase to modernize it..I didn;t have much money and hadn't gotten my loan yet....but this didn't deter Tim...he just kept giving me advise and gathering equipment for my new office ..he explained how we could use a Sears Compressor instead of a expensive dental compressor......he won my trust and my friendship for all these years .....A few months before he retired we talked about all the things he wanted to do and places to go...I encouraged him to try Ocean Cruising and he and his wife enjoyed it very much. He was a dear friend and always in a cheerful mood....I will miss him deeply in my heart and I pray he is
helping God clean up the Pearly Gates..... Tim, you will be missed ! ...
What an impact on MY life
As a young sailor and brand new Christian {1959} Tim showed me what being a Christian was all about -- and was instrumental in my coming to Christ. After 20 years in the Navy -- God called me into Ministry & I have been a Pastor for 28 years in a small Baptist Churc in NJ. I had hoped to one day get out to Calif and see the "old Gang". I will see him in Glory and thank him then for his part in my Life.
