well...not all of you will relate to  this, but long ago in the late '70s when denise and tim first moved to mccall and became friends, 10 or 12 people(at least) on a very regular basis spent hours together, laughing, drinking, watching football( and betting!) it was a great time of life and we had a blast...i am pretty sure, even tho i now have a 65 yr.old memory! that it was tim who came up with a winter "activity".......but somehow it came to be that the guys would go to a winter, open it up and jump into the snow in a belly flop and see who went furthest... at the time tim and deni were in a house that had a second story, these were times when mccall had feet of really great  snow, no one got hurt..and tim was so competitve and even tho i think he was the shorter of the group of guys, his imprint on hte fresh deep snow went the longest in the fresh snow...that is just one memory i will have forever, there are so mnay more...like the first time i went to hawaii with tim and deni, rod and melinda, andy and i....we wanted to see the napali coast but couldn't afford the "official" captin zodiac,,we walked around and found some spaced out surfer guys and they took us for 1/2 price...it was a magical place but i do remember the "landing" with both deni and melinda jumping out of the raft long before they needed to with money and stuff floating on the big surf...also quite a challenge to say the least- getting back out.....too much to tell. and i am smiling and laughing as i write..thank you both for all the wonderful times we shared...love you deni and tim..you gave me my first malumute and i have been hooked on northern breed dogs ever since..feel my arms around you deni....viki
