Timothy T. Lyon proudly served his country in the US Air Force from October 15, 1968 until August 4, 1972 as a Carpentry Specialist. His Basic Training was at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.  He participated through Bolling AFB in Washington DC at President Nixon's Inauguration and President Eisenhower's funeral. He was stationed at Kunson AFB in the Republic of Korea (1969), Wright Patterson AFB Columbus OH (1970) for Red Horse training / Combat Engineers, then Cam Rahn Bay AFB, Phucat AB and DaNang AB in South Vietnam, Ent AFB (Cheyenne Mountain / NORAD in Colorado Springs (71-72), with Honorable Discharge Aug 1972 / Grade E-5 SSGT / Carpentry Specialist.
