Mani pedi buddy

March 30, 2015

This picture was taken after a "see you soon" mani pedi visit with Tina before my trip. I was not a fan of mani pedis, it seemed like something I can do on my own. Until Tina came along and completely changed my perception, most of my mani pedi experiences was with her. See, mani pedi wasn't just a service. With Tina, it was bonding time, time to relax, have fun, catch up, talk about the big and little questions, all while getting beautified. She loved trying on new colors too, especially the vibrant, bold, or playful ones that doesn't always match with the day's outfit, but it didn't need to, it matched her spirit.

Tina was at every family gathering we had.

The Happiness, Laughter, & Joy we all shared was increased as soon as Tina entered into the space we were in.  If one did not know her before entering, surly KNEW Tina as she prepared to leave.  Her "gift of love" will forever be missed in my and many others lives.  Just something so special about us "August Babies".

SEI X-mas Party 1997

March 24, 2015

My company would rent out the Philadelphia Convention Center every year to celabrate Christmas. In 1997 I brought Tina along to the party to share with her some fun and really good food, because Tina loved to eat and she was the type of person to go out and meet people. As I was talking to my co-workers Tina decided to wander around and mingle. My Manager pointed out Tina to me and asked " Trevor is that your date dancing with Al West." Who is the CEO and Founder of SEI Investmas. I looked over a sure enough Tina was dancing with the CEO, COO, CFO and the Director of Operations. Every one was nervous around those guys. We were 25-26 and here is this 18 year old making these big bosses laugh and have fun. That was the first time we saw those bosses as regular people. On the Monday after the party the company email newsletter featured Tina and Al dancing. My Manager and the Director could not stop talking about Tina and her spirit. My co-workers were remembering her beauty. I was happy because she had a great time.

Tina could always bring people together.
