"Tinu was a true inspiration for me. I  was so confused as soon as I heard the sad new. In fact, I have to phone one of our common friend to ask her if this was true. sadly as soon she confirmed it, I sobbed like a child. Indeed, I would like to present my sincere condolences to Tinu family.  May God  ALMIGHTY bless her three children."

"This so hurts! I'd found it difficult to leave this message as how can Tinu be gone?
About a week to your passing, I thought to myself that I hadn't spoken to you for a number of months and then sent you a text in the middle of the night, thinking I would have an almost instant reply from you. And after a coiuple of days and having heard nothing, I thought it was rather strange that you wouldn't have replied. It was the most awful news when not long after I had the unfathomable call!
Sleep on in the Master, Tinuola - and now you are in the place of everlasting praise. You're so beautiful inside and out!
May grace reside endlessly with your boys as we trust fully in the endless intercession of the Master over them."

Your infectious smile and laugh, your gentle hugs. How you have left me broken and sad beyond words. The news of your loss left me shocked and confused. For days to follow I just believed it was a mistake, ooh Pastor Tinu. You have left a vacuum that can never be filled.

"Tinu my dear friend. Today was a very painful day for your family and friends. We met on the train commuting to work and became firm friends. You inspired me, advised me and shared many positive ideas with me. When I heard of your passing this Saturday, I refused to believe it. My heart aches so much at the knowledge that you are gone but I take courage from the knowledge that you are now with the Lord and that we have gained an angel today. Watch over your wonderful boys and pray for them, always. You came into my life and left an everlasting mark. I will hold the memory of you and the friendship you showed me in my heart. "Life’s journey is easier when you hear friends and colleagues’ footsteps beside you. Tinuola was one of the prominent Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) research students at London South Bank University, who not only achieved high standards and quality of research studies, but also shown an outstanding commitment to the university in order to contribute to the higher education in London.

On a personal note, I particularly remember her help to complete my pilot-study questionnaire in order to have a primary information from colleagues. At that time, Tinuola has used my tablet to fill the information to ensure that she has given me the correct feedback. Also, she has asked me when she has completed the forms about the number of questionnaire records to confirm her record is counted. This is just one example of her care and engagement with her colleagues. Many thanks Tinuola

Tinuola’s contributions were powerful and her ethics more than remarkable…. Energy, commitment, integrity are all words that begin to capture my image of Tinuola. Would that we had many more like her; but she was one of kind and will be sorely missed as a colleague and researcher in the DBA degree programme at London South Bank University.

Tinuola, a caring and beloved family women, a highly valued colleague, a researcher will be missed by many, but never will she be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to have known her!"

It's tough to tell you goodbye. It dawned on me that life is indeed transient. It's like grass that withers after some time.
I thank God for a wonderful life well spent in the service of your God and humanity. The Almighty God will comfort your family and your loving children whose future is already secured in God's hand.
My consolation is that you are far better now and at peace with yourself and your creator.
Tinu, God be with you till we meet again. Till we meet at Jesus' feet. Till we join you in heaven,  a reunion grand!

"Dearest Pastor Tinu, I was attending Leadgrow Leadership Conference in Sweden when a beloved sister broke the news of your demise to me, not knowing that you were close to me. I am unable to express the kind of shock I experienced, from the bed I found myself on the floor!!!. The Hotel room started moving in circles my brain I believe. Wow!!!.  I am now convinced that God takes the best very early for reasons known solely to Him. Pastor Tinuola, if I have to describe you, so many words come to mind: Graceful, Soft spoken, Humble, Focused, Diligent, Kind, Courageous, Wise, Pleasant, Warm, Hardworking, Friendly, Inspiring, Elegant and Charming. You sparkle and shine like Diamond ring. You light up a room when you walk in with your smiles which radiates warmth. When there is darkness, you turn on the light. With wisdom, you handed over all these qualities to God, serving Him with all that is in you. You touched so many lives in different ways. Our last discussion was how you'll guide me to start my PHD later this year. You are no longer there to guide me Pastor Tinu. I love you soooooo  much but God loves you more. I am quite confident that you are relaxing with Him up there. 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.....they'll rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them' (Rev 14:13). Your deeds will announce you to the Lord dearest friend. Your friendship was a blessing and I will miss you so much. Aurevoir my beloved till we meet to part no more. Your friend and sister in the Lord, Agatha"

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."

You have left such a vacuum in the lives of those who loved you. We console ourselves with words of Christ Jesus.
“I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."

"We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this we imagine that hour is placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun or that death could arrive this same afternoon, this afternoon which is so certain and which has every hour filled in advance.

Tinu - I am deeply saddened by your passing. It was a rude shock. I remember your quiet but firm disposition, warm smile and genuine kindness. You were such a lady of class, grace and genuine love for the things of God. It is with this belief that I am comforted that you have gone to a better place to rest.

""Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting.
The death of a loved one  is the hardest to bear for she is the one who is there for all the most. In her life she has shown her beloved a path to follow and now she is resting in God's embrace. Her beloved ones looks forward to the day they will be reunited.

Sweet smile on your face as you sleep the pain away, Resting in God's arms now, although in the ground your body lay. He needed another angel in the Heavenly choir and that's why you had to go.
As you promised, you are still with us watching your children here below.
And even in your weakest hour you , you were still strong internally and your faith kept you on.

Sister Tinuola, you lived a life worth emulating. You were always ready and willing to lend a shoulder to lean on.
How can I forget your smile. I always ask myself if you do get angry because it’s hard to know. Death was so partial on you. I kept wondering why someone like Pastor Tinuola should have gone too early. But who am I to question the Most High God. The one who knows our beginning and end.

The last time I saw was when you attended my Son’s christening in February, I wish I had hugged, peck and held you. It saddens my heart that I will never see you again.
You had 101 attributes that has given me the assurance that you are in a better place. The Angel’s  have gained a special soul. You will forever be missed but your legacy still lives.
Continue to rest on the right hand side of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet again to path no more."

We shared so many of our life experiences and I was always amazed at how calm and positive you remained  through everything.  And I will never ever forget the relentless effort you made to get me to return to Christ at a period I lost my faith.  I am back in the Lord right now because you refused to give up on me and I'll forever be grateful.

Just as time passes, so do memories pass as well, but those who stirred our spirits sing in our hearts forever...The life given us by nature is short, but the memory of a well-spent life is eternal...Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away...

"Dear Sister Tinu,

It was very shocking and painful to receive the news of your sudden transition. We are consoled and somewhat comforted that you are with Jesus resting in well deserved peace.
You were gentle, soft spoken and courteous; you have also raised three brilliant boys that are huge credits to you.
We are assured that they will never be small in any way but flourish and be very great indeed.
Thanks again for Tiffany's 1st Bible.

"Tinu, your departure is a loss to the whole world. Your gentility and smile was your signature tune. You held yourself with grace and had a unique way of expressing yourself. If you were not an Accountant, you would have being a Diplomat. I first noticed you when you rendered the National Anthem during the  2006 ICAN Dinner, it was beautiful even the High Commissioner was moved.
We fail to understand your sudden departure but as Christian believers we accept that it is God's will to take you away this early. God will comfort those you have left behind. Adeu Tinu, RIP."

"Pastor Tinu,

There was something about you that said you were different, there was a special aura, an unmistakeable persona and carriage that set you apart,  it was simply obvious that you carried the presence of God.

Only God knows why you have left this world at this time, but as premature as it appears, it is clear that you have left an indelible mark in the hearts of many. One thing is for sure, which is that you are now with your Maker singing heartily along with the innumerable company of angels.

Pastor Tinu - You will be greatly missed. Sleep well and enjoy Heaven.

May the hand of the Almighty uphold your children and family in Jesus name. Amen.
Wale Oladunjoye."

"Tinuola mi, words fail me. You were a friend in a million. Committed, genuine, passionate and loyal. You were always by my side in good and bad times. You only had good things to say about everyone. You were such an angel. We spent so much time together, cried together, laughed together, study together, went on holidays together with our kids. You were my rock, my shield, very supportive and loving. We had a good laugh, had our girlie-girlie chat till the early morning. Everything I did you got involved in, to support me and ensure I succeeded in all I do. What am I going to do without you, who do I call on when I want to share my heart ache or good news? I am still in shock and in denial. Whilst I kept vigil by your bedside, I got to know how much you loved God and had faith in Him. Your passing to glory was a watershed in my life and never to be forgotten till my dying day. Your memory will forever be with me. Sleep tight baby girl. I love you to bits. I take consolation in the fact that I know you made heaven."

"Sis Tinu's death has left me dazed and utterly confused. For the past 2 days, I have sat and thought about a million reasons why things have turned out this way. Who am I to question God? The Tinu I know would have asked the same question and would have wanted me to leave it in God's hands. I am consoled by the fact that those who trust in the Lord, and lived and died in Christ are at peace.

I picked up a lot of soft skills from Tinu - leadership, organisational, time management, event planning, communication and diplomacy to mention a few. Her humility, kindness, patience, infectious passion for excellence in service delivery and love for Christ were also some of the qualities that endeared all to her. She always had my back and showed me and my family so much love. It was a privilege and blessing to have served with Tinu in different capacities within ICAN UK District society and CANUK. Thank you for everything. Adieu my mentor, my sister and my friend. I will miss you for a lifetime."
