Tracey Anna Sears (Nee Sims), 55 of Southwest Philadelphia, PA

Tracey passed away on April 3rd, 2019 at Avista Healthcare in Cherry Hill, NJ. Tracey was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 27th, 1963 to the late Mr. Robert & Mrs. Dolores Sims (nee Dietrich).

Tracey was very well known for her “talks”. She had them with everyone from her kids to their friends to her grandchildren, she always gave the best advice and she always knew just what to say to make you feel better. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren the most, they were her heart and soul. She loved to dance and have a great time! She also didn’t take any crap from anyone especially when it came to family. She was kind and loving and would take anyone in if you needed. Whenever you needed her she always came running no questions asked. She was one of a kind!

Tracey was predeceased by her brothers Robert Sims Jr. and Steven Sims Sr.

Tracey had been married to the love of her life Charles “Chuck” Sears for 38 years. She was a devoted and loving Mother to her daughter Jennifer Rodden (Joseph), and her 2 sons Jason Sears (Amy Miller) and Eric Sears (Krystle). She was the best Mom-Mom to 5 wonderful grandkids, Ethan Sears, Alexandra Sears, Sofia Sears, Jack Fullerton, and Jason Rodden. Also, she was survived by her 2 sisters June Gallagher and Lynn Sims, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering and Service for Tracey will be held on April 13th, 2019 at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062,  from 10am-12pm.

Words can’t express how I feel right now. Tracy Sears is one of my childhood friends mom. She was a little special to me. When I was in the hospital back in 2001 In really bad shape she stopped in and checked on me a lot. Her house was always open to all us boys and safe place with food to eat and could stay as long as we wanted. She was and wounderful person. If there is a heaven I know she’s up there. Rip. My condolences to the Sears in Sims family.

To my dearest Tracey,
Although it has been a lifetime since we were together at Community Outreach, Misericordia, I never forgot you. You, even then, was an amazing mother, wife, daughter and my secretary. I know half of us couldn't have done all that we did without you. You have touched many of us and left this earth loved by us all. Smile, dance and have a drink for me. XO
