Trevor was born on the 20th May 1945. He lived in Hartlepool with his parents before joining the army in 1964. He served in Germany then onto Malaya where we started writing to eavh other ad pen friends. We met in Scotland in 1969 andgot engaged the same year. We were married in August 1970. We both went to Germany for a year and then posted back to Catterick Garrison.  Our daughter was born in the old military hospital in 1972 in the August. We then moved to Ripon north yorkshire and then onto Hong Kong for 2 years. We came back to England for 6 weeks before going back to Germany. Trevor went to the troubles in Northern Ireland. He was gone for a total of 6 months. We were again posted back to Catterick Garrison and stayed there till Trevor came out of the army at the end of 18years service as a sergeant. We moved to Richmond North Yorkshire fore a while then up to Newton Aycliffe because of Trevors employment. We then moved down to Dorchester Dorset where we still are,Unfortunately Trevor had many illnesses and then he was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the brain. He fought very hard against this awful disease for 2years 4 months but died on September 8th 2014. His ashes are buried in Moreton church garden of rememberance. Anyone reading this who knew Trevor is more than welcome to visit his grave.
