Mr. Gosdin was born April 18, 1930 in Heard County, GA to the late Pinkney Marshal Gosdin and Emma Maddox Gosdin. He was a Baptist by faith. In his working years he was a self-employed carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorell Watts Gosdin, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and 10 siblings.
Survivors include: four daughters: Dottie Gosdin-Dye (John) of Lanett, AL; Debbie Gosdin-Powers (Tony) of Valley, AL; Donna Gosdin-Abel of Nashville, TN; and Darlene Gosdin of Ephesus; three sons: Danny Gosdin (Terry) of West Point, David Gosdin and Donnie Gosdin (Nancy) of Roopville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Novice Sessions; and a host of other relatives and friends.
