Chief Innocent Ezeanya Ofor - Eze Udorah Umuchu was born on the 21st of March 1929. He became an orphan at an early age in life having lost his mother at age 4 and father at age 10. The rest of his upbringing was done by his father's first son.

Eze-Udorah was a devout catholic, a Grand Knight emeritus of the Knight of Saint Mulumba, an active member of the Opus Dei. Opus Dei advocates the sanctification of one’s daily work in such a way it becomes an offering to God. This became a mantra for him as he tried to do the ordinary things of life in an extra ordinary way.

His education spanned through St Matthew Umuchu and St Charles Achina  to St Thomas Ibuzo with his Degree and Post graduate Degrees coming from the University of Ibadan, University of Nigeria and The School of public management and administration Washington

Udorah's professional career was mainly in the civil service where he retired in 1984 as the deputy permanent secretary for the Ministry of Education in the old Anambra State. Till date his colleagues and generations after him still refer to him as an embodiment of integrity.

Udorah having lost the love of his life – Maria Ofor in 1987 and his first Daughter Geraldine Ezeoke in 2008, is survived by his children - Chief Gerry Ofor , Prof Ifeyinwa Emejulu, Ntomchukwu Reginald Ofor, Somtochukwu Ofor, Chinedu Ofor, Chidinma Uzoatu, Chukwuebuka Ofor and Chika Anierobi ........their spouses and as at the last count 29 grandchildren. Udorah is called Daddy by numerous people and will be greatly missed by all…

Innocent Ezeanya Ofor – Eze Udorah was strong till his last moments….he went to bed as usual and slept on peacefully. This was sudden and shocking to the people he left behind but his life was exemplary and well lived. He had always prayed for a peaceful death and God did grant him that.
