Valerie was born on April 29,1950 to Bart and Josephine Varsalona. She was the second of 4 children, an older sister Lois and younger twin brothers Bart and Charles. Tradgically while on a family vacation in Florida, Val,as everyone called her,was involved in a horrific car accident that took the lives of her parents as well as her 12 yr old twin brothers,she was the only survivor,the driver of the car that hit them was drunk. She woke up,on the side of the road,in a strange state,alone and broken from head to toe,not yet knowing her family was gone. Val was a survivor and did it know it yet,but was destined to be a great wife,aunt,mother and grandmother
