Mrs. Vernell Herring Moore, of 108 Rockfish Court, Wallace, NC, formerly of Warsaw, NC transitioned from this life to everlasting life on Friday, February 07, 2014 at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw NC. Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, February 14, 2014 at Hawes Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw. Interment will be 11:00AM Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in the Devotional Gardens Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be held 4:00pm-6:00pm Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Hawes Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Vernell H. Moore was born on September 16, 1929 in Duplin County to the late Willie M. Herring and the late Gracey Chambers Herring. She was married to the late Ottis Moore. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Willie Moore and Victor Moore, Sr.; one daughter, Geraldene Moore. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Dwight Monroe Moore and Eddie Morris Moore; one grandchild, Victor Moore, Jr.; one sister, Elsie Arnold; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
