Vern's devotion to his wife, Jean, was a role model for all of us to live our own lives. These were two people enjoyed each other's company; were supportive of each other and had likes and differences that complimented each other like salt and pepper. This example is one we all can aspire to. RIP Vern. We won't forget a man who was tough but tender.

Vern to one of the scariest, lovable craziest cousins I know. I can't wait to see you in your black leather vest, black speedo trunks and boots riding through heaven. Maybe I'll hop on the back. Love always Judy Whitlock

Celebration of Life - Reminder - Jean Vern Semon

We will be having a memorial to celebrate the life of Vernon Semon on August 13, 2016, 2-6pm at the home of Vern & Jean Semon. We hope to see you there. If you need the address please private message me or my mom. We will have a 2-3pm greeting. 3-4pm ceremony being's with a reflection on Vern's life. If anyone would like to share a story about Vern or just speak about him during this time, please make sure you put your name on the list when you arrive. We would love to hear your memories but we would ask that you keep it to a minimum of 3-5 minutes. 4-6pm dinner buffet begins. Many people have asked what to bring? We will have food and drink. So, you can bring a dessert to pass if you like. Or, if you have a specific drink you like that we may not have, you could bring that. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Uncle Vern what can I say . I always loved seeing you especially when I was older. You scared the crap out ofe when I was younger. But you loved to do that. I know I wasn't the only who's leg you would crap as we walked by. Haha. The bike rides you would give all of us. I loved that you thought of us and took us for rides. We shared a love for the drinks also. When I was young I'd come over and drink you lemon and sugar iced Tea. And when I was old we both loved the Rum and Coke. I will always remember you and miss you so much. Rest in peace my dear Uncle. Love you so Very much
