That was a day I will never forget...it was the day after Valentine's day (February 15,1992).The babysitter had to be hunted down like 1 in the morning so I could go to the hospital.My husband at the time was arguing with the on call doctor on the phone because he didn't like him saying to get a different doctor or I wasn't going...I was like oh I am going to the hospital what part of I am in labor don't you understand what are you and our 18 month old son(Andrew) gonna deliver her.I don't think so...get to the hospital and Dr.Lee decided to go take a nap waiting.Not even 10 minutes later I said the baby is coming but the nurses were arguing with me the doctor said it would be awhile.Finally I got one to come in and check.She yelled to the other one go get the doctor I see the head.while waiting for the doctor she prepared to catch the head.when the doctor came in he looked told me to stop pushing.I said I am not pushing. Thank God he delivered many babies cause he looked up at me and told the nurse to give him the clamps.He had to clamp her into place.The cord was around her neck twice so he had to cut it before I could have her so she wouldn't be strangled by the cord.when he was done and removed the clamps she just slid right out into the world.As if she couldn't wait to finally be held by her mommy.
