born veronica scott she lived in walker most of her young life and went to st lawrences school when she left school she started work at woolworths in newcastle till meeting my father reg mcguire who she married in 1960 she went on to have three sons and hold down numerous jobs from cleaning in a dentists in heaton to being a dinner lady in westerhope and still managed to keep a tidy home and always a hot homemade meal on the table when coming in from school she also worked at presto's in newcastle city centre where she was knowing as mrs mac after she retired she moved to wideopen corbridge avenue then to a bungalow  in ewsley drive wideopen sadly on the 2nd of july 2013 she passed away in the rvi newcastle upon tyne she was and is the best mother a son could have and i am proud to have had her as my mother miss you mam and love you more than words can say
