4 years later and the pain is manageable but not the loss. I cannot imagine how much more deeply Vicki's family feels. May we all live our lives better in her memory.

It is the second anniversary of Vickie's passing. Time has passed by so acutely but the ache of loss is still present. I still see eagles in all shapes in my travels and I can't help but feel she is still here in spirit. I sense various msgs from her in this manner. I pray for Tiffany, her closest companion, as well.

Truly Vickie & Tiffany were sisters in a past life who were joined together once again in this lifetime....and despite traditional views of roles, they were sisters, inseparable, in every sense of the word.
I knew Vickie & Tiffany for a few short years but every time was an unforgettable beautiful memory. When spoken of one , it is true for the other. They are angels in our midst.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Vicky really well, but certainly admired her. She was a very faith filled, gracious, kind and loving individual who definitely put her family first. I know she is smiling down from heaven at her children and all who loved her.

Tiffin, I am so sorry that I will be unable to attend the memorial. Just know that my prayers and loving thoughts are with you and with your brother. The pictures you posted are wonderful and show your Mother's joy and zest for life.

There are angels on earth, as we got to know Vicky we came to realize how special she was, she was patient, caring, full of love and charity.
She was an example of a true disciple of Christ, always ready to help wether it was with counseling or whatever it may be. She was a light in our lives, always wanting to share with others her blessings.
She was kind and loving always. I know she has passed this trial in life as was requested of her. She has left a legacy of her life to anyone that came to know her. We, our family were blessed to have her in our lives as I'm sure she was to her relatives especially her kids. Tiffany and Trae must have tons of memories of her love and great example.
May the Lord blessed all who was left behind until we meet again. She will forever remain in our thoughts and in our hearts ❤️

Although I did know her well, I felt a soul connection to Vikki - and to Tiffany (Tiffin) as well. She will be missed by so many in many different ways. I am just sorry that I met you, Vikki, near the end of your life. I hope that Tiffany will come back to Westside, as there is a caring community there for you.

I was very grateful to have known Vikki and Tiffin in the short time I was in Fort Worth. I had some wonderful conversations with Vikki as we both contemplated how the journey beyond death might shape itself. And Tiffin was a huge blessing as well for her vibrant gift of life. Many blessings and metta for all in Vikki's circles of love and friendship

It has been an honor and blessing to have spent time with such a caring and accepting woman. As a long time friend of Tiffin's, I was touched by their willingness to go the extra mile to show not only a deep appreciation for each other, but for everyone around them.

Hi - Someone else has said that Vikki and Tiffany sometimes looked more like sisters than mother and daughter. I loved seeing them at church; Vikki had cute little feathery hats that she would wear - she always managed to look elegant.  And her infectious smile - it was always upbeat to talk with her. She was always a charming lady!  I still miss her.

Much love, Beverly

we did many things together....museum, church service, dinner, etc. I always enjoyed listening to Vickie speak of her favorite subject, Tiffany!  lol    Vickie told such stories that ultimately would embarass Tiffany to no end. I always waited for the inevitable wail from Tiffany, "Mooooomm". It was hilarious.

I am still searching for the phone recording where they decided to serenade me for my birthday, off-key and you could hear the mischievous tone as they sang until the end when they were overcome with their own mirth and lost it, laughing. Priceless!

A wonderful visit from younger sister, Bonnie Upton, during Vikki's final days. They reminisced about childhood dance lessons, cheerleading at William Tennant High, old flames and life lessons. Thanks, Aunt Bonnie, for your willingness to help, and sharing your wisdom and advice when we most needed it.
