"TRIBUTE TO A RARE GEM
IN LOVING AND EVERGREEN MEMORY OF A VERY DEAR, LOVING AND CARING MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER – LATE MRS VICTORIA OMOTOYOSI ADUNI OLUWA FEMI – NEE FADOYIN.
THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM SUGGESTED NO EVIL BUT SUDDENLY, WE WERE CAUGHT NAPPING AS THE NEWS CAME THAT OMOTOYOSI HAS GONE TO MEET HER LORD – REST IN PEACE MAMA.
YOUR SUDDEN EXIT ON THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1997 WAS VERY PAINFUL AS DEATH CAME WHILE YOU WERE ON ACTIVE SERVICE (ALAJAPA) IN SEARCH OF MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD – A SUCCESSFUL AGROENTREPRENEUR (ALIAS IYA ONISU – YAM MERCHANT) TO THE END.
WHAT GREATER TRIBUTE CAN WE GIVE TO A MOTHER WHO RAISED AND STOOD BY HER CHILDREN DESPITE HARDSHIP. OMOTOYOSI ADUNI, YOU WERE SUCH A WONDERFUL MOTHER, BRIDGE BUILDER, A CARING WIFE, A SELFLESS DAUGHTER OF OWOLABI (aka YOMOYOYA – SOMEONE WHO PROVIDE FOOD FOR MOTHER AND CHILDREN).
OMOTOYOSI ADUNI – OMO FADOYIN OSANWINIYOGBE (GORGEOUSLY DRESSED WORSHIPER), YOUR MEMORY IS EVERGREEN. NO WONDER THE BIBLE SAYS “JEKI EMI KIO KU IKU OLODODO KI IGBEHIN MI KI O LE DA BI TIWON i.e. LET ME DIE THE DEATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS….”
IYA ONISU, IYA JOHN (IYA JOONU AS POPULARLY CALLED), WE YOUR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND YOUR LOVED ONES REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS. OMA SE O, KOKORO KO JE KI A GBADUN OBI TI O GBO. TRULY, IT IS NOT HOW LONG, BUT HOW WELL. YOU LEFT YOUR FOOTPRINT ON THE SAND OF TIME. SINCE IT IS AS NATURAL TO DIE AS TO BE BORN, WE GLORIFY GODWHO KNOWS WHY HE CALLED YOU TO HIMSELF. WHENEVER WE REMEMBER YOU ARE NO MORE, WE ALWAYS PRAISE AND WORSHIP THE MOST HIGH GOD FOR HIS WONDERFUL PRESENCE IN ALL SITUATIONS.
OMOTOYOSI ADUNI, ODABO, ODIGBERE. ADIEU MAMA.  VIEWERS, ASK YOURSELF, WHAT WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED FOR? YOU MAY WISH TO SING THIS SONG AS YOU WATCH….HAPPY VIEWING……
A O PADE LETI ODO, TE SE ANGELI TI TE……."
