TRIBUTE TO MY SISTER-IN-LAW
God why did you take away our precious jewel? If I may ask but I can’t question God for any reason he knows the end from the beginning, likewise the best.
It’s so sad and unbelievable to receive the new of your departure. I didn’t believe it but when I saw your baby that was when I realize that you are no more. Uchechukwu you’re irreplaceable. God knows the best why you left us. Your are one in a million, God sent. But death is not considerate at all to choose you. If we are to choose, it is not yet your time. But who are we to question God. O’ Uchee your memories will not be forgotten.
May your gentle soul rest in the bosom of our lour Jesus Amen.                      We love you but God loves you most,                            Rest in peace.

A TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR FRIEND
I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend Uche. When I heard the news, I did not believe the story was thinking it was a joke and immediately began to reflect on all the outrageously funny and wonderful times we spent together and the last time we communicated on phone hmmm.
I am short of words, I still have this tiny hope inside me that miracle might still manifest but the earlier I accept it and face it the better for me. We can’t fight God nor question him; He knows what is best for His people Ecclesiastes 3 said there is a time to be born and a time to die.
UC there is no doubt, you was a truly remarkable woman who possessed the gift of greatness, laughter and had a zealous passion to share with the world. Treasures are valuable but you are a priceless jewel. The beautiful woman, inside and out was a wonderful friend to me. May your beautiful spirit live on through your child CHUKWUZULUM.
I pray to Almighty God to give your family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost. May your soul rest in peace. Amen!

TRIBUTE TO A SHINNING STAR
SENIOR FRIENDS, ASF UNEC

“It is appointed unto man once to die…”
The unspoken part of that eternal statement is not a warning but a charge, namely: “…therefore, live your lives to the fullest while you were alife!”
Our Sister, Victoria Uche Nwafor understood that revelation perfectly while she lived that she lived her life in total service of God. Today, she is no more. But she has walked with God.
The news of her death came as a shock to the body of Senior Friends of the Anglican Students’ Fellowship of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.
Victoria joined the ASF in very early year in school, and was found not only zealous but genuinely with a burden for the LORD’S Vineyard. So, she was first discovered in the New Brethren’s Fellowship and the Foundational Bible Class where she shone like a star.
Uche was next found in the azotus duty of walking the corridors of hostels in the cheerless assignment of taking the Gospel she had boiling in her bones to fellow students and youngsters who were roaming the Den of Lions like docile sheep. She progressed into the Morning Cries; and then found her feet in the remote outreaches of the Fellowship in the villages.
Whether in the field of labour, or on the mountain of intercession, Victoria never ceased to let the gentle stream of the Spirit from gushing through her young and yearning soul.
She was drafted to be the chief shepherd of Lady Ibiam Hall, from where she translated to the Fellowship Librarian, where she made landmark repositioning of the dusty and neglected knowledge bank of ASF.
Today, Vicky is gone, but she is alife in the various facets she touched lives in undying affectation.
May her gentle virtuous soul rest in the bossom of the Lord, where death is dead.

BRILLIANT AND BRIEF VICKYIDEAL

May your victorious life,
Shine across the deep, dark pits of death;
Your death,
Through the narrow path of the Father’s Will.
Vicky,
May your powerful voice echo against the distance walls
Of mortality and immortalize your gentle soul,
May your star appear in Heaven,
Where now you are born!
Farewell!

I Have known Victoria as a devoted Sister in fellowship, Hall Pastor and a professional colleague. We both decided to become auditors as students while trying to beat down ICAN and beat we did - I remember when she volunteered to pray before the exams started , she had this conviction which she communicated via her smile and tightly closed eyes that you could believe we all would get an award after the papers,'yes my Amen was the loudest and it echoed(don't worry about the award)......she was a brave one and very dependable
Hearing about her death has deeply saddened me,
but I know that this is not far from what everyone who have known or have something to do with her is going
through right now. To the husband and family you all are in my thoughts and
prayers. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone involved including me

Victoria, I could not believe your death is real, what a loss to your
beloved husband, your parents, the house of ASF UNEC, your contribution to
the house of ASF in the library department as the librarian cannot be
forgotten in a jiffy; the books, the bookshelf, and the book reviews. Your
impact in the Genco year remains unforgettable; your quest to make
contribution is overwhelming even in the midst of limited resources.
Victoria, working together with you in 2005/2006 ASF UNEC Genco year
remains in my memory; I cannot Put-off the picture of your
gestures and your dispositions. My beloved sister Victoria, rest in peace;
your death is a loss but we give glory to God for your life

My short stay with Vicky at UNEC was an awesome experience. Vicky, you
are always smiling and full of inspiration. She was a devout Christian with
great passion to win souls for the Lord. I was sad when I heard about her
demise. It was shocking and too hard for me to believe. But I was consoled
by the truth that righteous people don't die rather they sleep.
Vicky lives on... We shall meet again to part no more. Sleep well my
friend and sister. A great banquet is going on in heaven on your behalf.
Rest in perfect peace our dear -

Since the first day i got the message of you moving to join the heavenly
host, i have pondered. We all met in UNEC and served in the same house of
Anglican Student Fellowship. You were not only a sister or another
accountancy student, but a woman embedded with heavenly virtues. From your
husband’s testimonies and that of us, I bless God that my sister was a
blessing and have gone to continue her ministry in heaven. Even in this
time, i believe that God is still God. Death has no victory over you my
dear, it’s only a transition to greater heights for you Vicky

Victoria Nwafor Edebeatu, the news of your demise was a shocker. No one knows...
It's not been long I read your comment filled with joy. In ASF unec you were committed, dedicated, gentle, private, humanitarian, contented, graceful in all you do and always bear another's burden. I still recall many close contacts with you even in ASF Genco and a tete-a-tete we had before we entered labor market. Need I mention your impact on your husband's life, people around, friends etc. Each testifies of your uniquely carved personality. You always smile! You are surely missed.
I pray God to comfort your husband(he really do miss you),your families and also keep your son; May he also grant you a peaceful rest in heaven and grant us strength to serve Him truly- Amen!

TRIBUTE TO MENTOR,FRIEND,SISTER & WIFE:MRS VICTORIA UCHENNA EDEBEATU(MUMMY M)

“All I know of tomorrow is that God will rise before the sun. Blessed assurance ,so conforting.i trust God, my life ,so I know that come what may, He is with me always”  Victoria Edebeatu

I knew VICTORIA around April 2012 but before then she was my course-mate (a year ahead of me) @ University of Nigeria ,Enugu Campus.
By God’s providence we met after our graduation. As a working class man, the only thing on my mind was MARRIAGE. Something miraculous happen, I do not know the qualities I need in a wife but I remembered that my dad & mum always tells me to read “MY BIBLE” for life’s solutions.

I opened to PROVERBS CHAPTER 31 :10 - END ,I heard a voice “THESE WILL BE A YARD-STICK TO MEASURE” that was when God HIMSELF brought us TOGETHER.

To outsiders, she was my wife but to me she was my husband. She was a sister, best friend, my confidant, my planner, my secretary and my wife.

She was my GLORY, MY STRENGTH and BEAUTY.

I have not seen any lady who WORSHIP HER HUSBAND AS SHE DOES, she worship the ground I walked on, even due she was a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT.

AFTER our wedding last January, she applied for change of Name and handed ALL HER CERTIFIATE TO ME SAYING “DADDY M,OBI-M NOW AM YOUR WIFE ALL THESE THESE CERTIFIATE ARE NOW YOURS AND I MUST TAKE PERMISSION FROM YOU BEFORE USING THEM “any time people called her “MRS EDEBEATU”she will be so happy. What a virtuous Lady.
She took me closer to God; she made me a PARYER WARRIOR.
Anytime we had misunderstanding, she will say “obim, you are my lord,my beauty and my hubby why cnt I say AM SORRY”she must make sure we went to bed without any misunderstanding.

Her LOVE for GOD was OUTSTANDING, she belong to various Christian organization simply for “ENVANGLISM”she came back from work one day and she was so happy I asked her mummy, why are you happy?she replied,I met a Muslim and I shared the WORD OF GOD with him.

On 24th,Dec I met the nurse she was with before her death. I asked her what was her last word?she said that my wife mentioned “BLOOD OF JESUS -2 TIMES,IN JESUS NAME-2 TIMES.

Eleven months of blissful relationship has end on a sad note but I thank God on what the PSALMIST said in chapter 116 vs 15 “precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of HIS saints”

VICKY,UCHEY M,MUMMY?

What will happen to our plans?

How can I cope without you by my side?

You always promised that you will be here for me,
who will take ZULUM TO SCHOOL?

Who will drive the car I promise to buy for you?

Who will cook for me?

Who will dress me for work?

Who will tell me the TRUTH AS YOU DO?

SO,YOU CANNOT ANSWER ME?
MUMMY M ,YOU HAVE LEFT ME IN THE DARK?

I MUST MISS YOU BUT GOD KNOWS WHY, ENJOY YOURSELF IN HEAVEN!

Adieu Ugo jere mba, nwannem nwanyi
WHAT A TRAGEDY? WHY SO SOON? These two questions were among those of them that filled my mind when it was confirmed that Mrs Victoria Obi-Edebeatu has gone back to her creator.
Really in the midst of life, we are in death. Shakespeare correctly said it that "DEATH IS A NECESSARY END THAT COMES WHEN IT MUST COME". Sincerely speaking, the news of the demise of Mrs Victoria Obi-Edebeatu, "Ada Ndike, Ada Orumba, Ugo jere mba" after child birth came to me and most of the people if not all who heard it like a thunder which was least expected to strike when it did.
When I read the unexpected write up from Facebook, I just remembered how Obi met me at the Diocese on the Niger secretariat that time and he told me that he was planning to wed though I couldn't attend the wedding. I asked Obi if it would be taken that his beloved wife has gone back to her maker, he called to confirm the tragic story. I was dumbfounded and a bit confused. It was so devastating and almost unbelievable.
If I felt like that, how would Obi himself and all others closer to her than myself feel?
Really in the midst of life, we are in death. But to who shall we run to for help? Jesus Christ is the answer. 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18 says "GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU IN CHRIST JESUS". We thank God that both in life and death believers in Jesus Christ are always victorious, our beloved sister is already one. She has become a member of the church triumphant. Therefore we should no longer fear death because Jesus Christ our Saviour has given us victory. Hallelujah. Amen.
Obi God has already consoled you, be ye perfectly consoled. From my conversation with you on phone I am convinced that He has given you the fortitude to bear this irreparable earthly loss but a heavenly gain. OZO EMEZINA. We are still humans, only that God helps us. Take heart my beloved son and friend Obi Edebeatu, The Lord giveth and has taketh, may His name be glorified. Amen.
Adieu Mrs Victoria Obi-Edebeatu
Adieu Ada Ndike, Ada Orumba
Adieu Ugo jere mba, nwannem nwanyi
May your soul rest in peace. Amen.
