Viola was born March 22, 1915 to the late Henry and Lavonia Tenny of Meriwether County.  She was the only surviving child out of ten children. 

Viola received her education in the Meriwether County School System.  

She moved to Grantville and married the late Thomas Caldwell. 

She worked at Coweta General Hospital for several years and the Board of Education on Savannah Street for many years and retired.  

Viola leaves to cherish her loving memories, her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Walton of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Mr. Atonious Favors (Camille), Simone Walton, Lenoriss Robinson of Newnan, Ga; twelve great grandchildren; special friends, Mrs. Rachel Neely, James Harris, Charlsie White.
