Virginia lost her husband in 1968 and she never remarried. She was a stay at home mom she had 3 kids martha mae johnny and hiawatha. My mom moved back to ny in 1978 and i (martha v ) the youngest granddaughter would help around the house. As the years went on Virginia started to go blind from glacoma. But that never stopped her she still cooked, cleaned, baked, sewed, gardened,canned, and everything you or i would or could do.
