His Life
February 12, 2016

Dad was a leader. He spent 21 years in the army serving a tour in Korea and two tours in Germany. When he retired he managed a 4-H camp, Camp Wahsega, in Dahlonega. He and mom were there for 18 years. Mom was in charge of the dinning hall and dad ran the camp and repaired anything that tore up. He became a jack of all trades. My niece, Julie used to say "grandaddy can fix anything" and of course mama agreed with that. After retiring from the camp he bought a camper and truck and he and mom took off on many trips to see the US.
