Funeral service for Rev. Walter Gilmore Sr. of Alexander City, Alabama will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Miracle Baptist Church at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at New Life Memorial Gardens.

I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful man Rev.Walter (Duke of Gospel) Gilmore back in 2007 I was listening @ 1450 And he was looking for DJs so I called for appt. went in and got the position I became The Duchess of Gospel Music Iearned so much from this great man he became my mentor,father in ministry,And thn a few months later he became my now 7 yr daughter godfather he has shown us love that can never be forgotten Daddy we love then and now Gone But Never Forgotten Now you can sing in Heavenly Choir R.I.P Duke of Gospel
