Wendy and I go way back.  We went to kindergarten together and remained friends through life's ups and downs. One of my most memorable times we shared was right after college. We joined the New York City Dragon Boat - The Rebels. Wendy, I know you're laughing at these photos right now. Old as they may be, but most memorable. I would like to share a few pics of our younger days. While other people were clubing we were getting up early in the morning on the weekends and dragging ourselves after work during the weekdays to train. Wendy was a dedicated and hard core rower.  She would work out and push herself to get stronger. I admired her spirit, will, and most of all her dedication to the things she loved.  She never gave up.  She was a fighter. Scott and I will always remember her that way. Gil and I was there when she met Matt and when they hit it off.  To cherish that moment I took a quick snap shot of her and Matt. Friends first of course but they eventually came together as husband and wife followed by their two beautiful girls. There are so many many memorable moments created thereafter...

Wendy, it's so hard for me to let go of you yet I know you are in good hands from up above. May your spirit of life live through your girls and give Matt strength in the years to come. May we all remember the love you shared and the gift of friendship we hold dearly.

With friendship comes love,
Susie
