Wiley Thomas Howell, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Pruitt Healthcare in Raleigh.

Wiley was born in Granville County to the late Thomas Glenn and Rosa Jackson Howell. He was married to Geneva Champion Howell for sixty-five years. Wiley worked as an automotive repairman until he was eighty-seven years old. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the Korean War.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 12:00 PM at West Oxford Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Williams. The visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the funeral in the sanctuary of the church. The burial will be private.

Wiley is survived by his wife, Geneva Champion Howell, his daughter, Teresa H. Hosford (Greg) of Creedmoor, his grandson, Jonathan Hosford and a sister Rosa Strickland of Oxford. He was predeceased by four siblings.
